Marshall Dennehey Welcomes Joel M. Snavely to the Firm’s Health Care Department in Erie
Marshall Dennehey announced today that seasoned medical malpractice and health care law attorney Joel M. Snavely has joined the firm’s Erie office as a shareholder in the Health Care Department. Previously, he was a partner at the law firm of Quinn, Buseck, Leemhuis, Toohey & Kroto in Erie.
Marshall Dennehey Expands Pittsburgh Office with Addition of Seven Attorneys from Walsh Barnes
Marshall Dennehey announced that it has added the majority of the talent and existing business of Pittsburgh-based civil defense litigation firm Walsh Barnes, P.C. The move brings seven attorneys, including former Walsh Barnes named partner Adam M. Barnes and two other shareholders, to Marshall Dennehey's Pittsburgh office. Paul J. Walsh, III, founder and managing partner of Walsh Barnes, is stepping away from active litigation after 35 years and will devote his full attention to mediation. Walsh Barnes will be closing as of July 31, 2025.
Jason Banonis Elected to the Board of Governors of Bowie State University’s Maguire Academy for Risk Management and Insurance
Jason Banonis, shareholder in Marshall Dennehey’s King of Prussia office, has been elected to the Board of Governors of the Bowie State University Maguire Academy for Risk Management and Insurance. He will also serve on its Education, Curriculum and Program Committee.
Blake J. Hood Appointed Co-Chair of Jacksonville Bar Association Committee

Hood, a shareholder in the Jacksonville office, has been appointed co-chair of the Social Security and Workers’ Compensation Law Committee of the Jacksonville Bar Association for the 2025-2026 Bar year.
