Ronald J. Richert Joins Marshall Dennehey’s Pittsburgh Office as Special Counsel in the Casualty Department

Experienced product liability attorney Ronald J. Richert has joined Marshall Dennehey’s Pittsburgh office as Special Counsel in the firm’s Casualty Department.  

Richert concentrates his practice on product liability matters with a particular focus on asbestos litigation. For more than 24 years, he has handled all phases of this work—including discovery, motion practice, and trial—and has represented product manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, property owners, and employers in cases throughout Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He has also coordinated discovery for clients across multiple jurisdictions and collaborated with local trial counsel to advance client strategy.

In addition to his product liability work, Richert handles a range of general liability matters, including breach of contract, property damage, and motor vehicle cases before the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas and its compulsory arbitration panel.

He is a graduate of the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University, and the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. A member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, he is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
