Daniel G. McDermott, Co-Chair of the Maritime Litigation Practice Group at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin and esteemed counselor and advisor to the marine insurance industry, has been named a 2021 recipient of the American Institute of Marine Underwriters (AIMU) Distinguished Service Award.

Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin was honored today with the 2021 Champion of the Bar Award from the Philadelphia Bar Association. The firm was recognized at the Association’s annual member appreciation event, held at City Winery in Philadelphia. The firm’s in-house band, Class Action and the Marshall Dennehey Horns, provided entertainment for the occasion. 

Jeremy J. Zacharias, associate in the Mount Laurel office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, has been awarded the PLUS Emerging Leader Award from the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS). The award is given annually to young professionals who excel in their profession and exhibit the attributes to become future leaders in their organization and the professional liability insurance industry.

Matthew P. Keris, shareholder in Marshall Dennehey's Scranton office, has been appointed President of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) Foundation, the charitable arm of the defense litigation organization. Mr. Keris has previously served as Atlantic Regional Director of the DRI, as well as its Pennsylvania State Representative and Membership Chair.
