Marshall Dennehey Announces 2021 Shareholder Class and Special Counsel Promotion
Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin is pleased to announce that eight associates and five special counsel have been elevated to shareholder, effective January 1, 2021. Additionally, the firm has promoted one associate to the position of special counsel. These new shareholders and special counsel represent the firm's four core departments – casualty, professional liability, health care and workers' compensation – and come from eight of the firm's 20 regional offices.
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Adam J. Fulginiti, former associate, is now a shareholder in the firm's Health Care Department. Adam concentrates his practice in medical malpractice and defends a variety of health care providers, including physicians and nurses, nursing homes, and hospitals. He is also a member of the Telehealth and Telemedicine Practice Group, helping clients navigate the intersection of heath care, technology and the law. Additionally, Adam has an extensive practice in the arena of social services, where he represents foster care and adoption agencies, residential treatment facilities, and community social service agencies. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware and Rutgers State University School of Law, Camden. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Michael A. Salvati, former associate, is now a shareholder in the firm’s Casualty Department. Michael devotes his practice to product liability, premises liability and automotive liability claims. He has provided counsel to manufacturers and retailers of various consumer goods, ranging from appliances to automobiles, and from exercise gear to durable medical equipment. Michael’s practice also includes the defense of industrial accidents and other workplace injuries. He is a graduate of Villanova University and Villanova University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Michele A. Krengel, former associate, is now a shareholder in the firm’s Casualty Department. Michele concentrates her practice in the areas of personal injury, premises liability, automobile liability, construction defect liability and product liability. She represents a variety of clients, including individuals, non profit corporations, staffing agencies, contractors and retailers. She is a graduate of Tufts University and Suffolk University Law School and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Ryan A. Hauck, former associate, is now a shareholder in the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Department. Ryan defends employers, insurance companies and third party administrators in workers’ compensation matters. He has significant experience litigating cases before judges throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and before the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board. Ryan has secured positive results for national insurance companies, third party administrators, and clients in a variety of industries including commercial retailers, restaurants, staffing agencies, trucking companies, school districts, health care providers and construction companies. A graduate of Westminster College and Duquesne University School of Law, Ryan is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.

Brittany E. Bakshi, former associate, is now a shareholder in the firm’s Casualty Department. Brittany focuses her practice in the areas of personal injury, premises liability, property damage and product liability litigation. Michele Frisbie, former special counsel, is now a shareholder in the Casualty Department. Michele focuses her practice on a variety of casualty matters, including personal injury litigation, premises liability, dog bite litigation, automobile accidents, dram shop, and hotel, restaurant and retail security. She also has experience handling professional liability matters, representing real estate professionals, insurance brokers and agents, attorneys, mental health service providers and municipal entities when claims are brought against them. Ian Antonoff, former special counsel, is now a shareholder in the firm's Professional Liability Department. He defends design professionals and contractors in construction defect actions involving claims ranging from water infiltration to overall design and structural issues. These large and complex matters generally involve multiple parties and include allegations of existing code violations, negligence, breach of contract and fraud. Ian also defends contractors in connection with personal injury claims resulting from construction site accidents. He is a graduate of Montclair State University and Seton Hall University School of Law and is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
Scott A. Ginsberg, former special counsel, is now a shareholder in the firm’s Casualty Department. Scott focuses his practice on personal injury litigation and is experienced in defending insurance carriers in disputes involving New York Personal Injury Protection claims. He also focuses on fraud investigation, including medical provider fraud and intentional/staged losses. A graduate of the University of Florida, he earned his J.D. at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
Tonya M. Lindsey, former special counsel, is now a shareholder in the firm’s Casualty Department. Tonya has experience handling personal injury litigation, medical malpractice, premises liability, product liability, motor vehicle liability and property damage claims. She has represented a wide range of clients, including large corporations, small businesses, hospitals, physicians and nursing homes. She has successfully defended cases at trial, having most recently obtained a defense verdict in a high exposure medical malpractice case. Tonya is a graduate of Yale University and Georgetown University Law Center. She is admitted to practice in New York.

Christopher J. DiCicco, former associate, is now a shareholder in the firm’s Casualty Department. Chris concentrates his practice in the area of admiralty and maritime litigation. He regularly handles maritime personal injury defense cases and marine construction cases, including cases involving the Jones Act, the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, and the New York State Labor Laws. He also is experienced in inland marine cargo defense matters involving trucking, transportation brokers, and warehouses. In addition, he has experience handling aviation cargo defense cases, aviation liability matters, and product liability matters. A graduate of Villanova University and Brooklyn Law School, Chris is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.

Kimberly Kanoff Berman, former special counsel, is now a shareholder in the firm’s Professional Liability Department. Kimberly is Board Certified in Appellate Practice in the state of Florida and has litigated numerous appeals in Florida state and federal appellate courts across a wide variety of matters. She also provides litigation support and counsel in insurance coverage, construction defect, premises liability, professional malpractice and bad faith cases. A graduate of the University of Florida and the University of Miami School of Law, she is admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals 11th Circuit and the U.S. Court of Appeals 3rd Circuit.
D. Terrance Hill, former associate, is now a shareholder in the firm’s Casualty Department. Terrance focuses his practice on the defense of claims made and suits brought against insureds and businesses in premises liability, negligent security, construction defect, automobile liability and general casualty matters. He also represents municipalities and law enforcement agencies in federal and state civil rights cases. Terrance is a graduate of the University of Florida and Florida Coastal School of Law, and he is admitted to practice in Florida.
Irene Thaler, former associate, is now a shareholder in the firm’s Professional Liability Department. Irene devotes her practice to insurance coverage, bad faith litigation, first-party property defense litigation and complex construction defect claims. She assists insurers in all aspects of coverage disputes in state and federal court, including pre-suit investigations, coverage evaluations, and litigation involving causes of action for declaratory judgment, breach of contract, and bad faith. Irene is a graduate of Fordham University and St. Thomas University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Florida.

Kara A. Pullman, former associate, has been promoted to Special Counsel in the firm’s Professional Liability Department. Kara defends employers against claims involving allegations of discrimination based upon age, gender, race, sexual orientation and disability, as well as retaliation and "whistle blowing." She is experienced in the areas of municipal liability and civil rights and has represented municipal and county governments, including police departments, police officers, and school boards in cases relating to civil rights and discrimination. Kara also has experience handling special education matters for school districts, including administrative and due process hearings involving IDEA claims. She is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University and Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey School of Law, Camden. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
