Butler (Buck) Buchanan, III, Managing Attorney of Marshall Dennehey’s Philadelphia headquarters office, has been named a recipient of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2021 Diversity Leaders in Business Awards. The recognition celebrates the region’s most influential diverse business leaders based on professional accomplishments, community involvement and philanthropy. Mr. Buchanan and the other honorees will be recognized at an awards ceremony and in the Business Journal later this month.

Peggy Smith Bush, Special Counsel in the firm’s Orlando office, has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the Transportation Lawyers Association (TLA). Mrs. Bush will serve as a Representative at Large.

For eight decades, the TLA has been in the forefront of educating transportation attorneys. Through CLE courses and regular publications, TLA’s growing membership stays abreast of new developments in state and federal law affecting all modes of transportation.

For the ninth year running, Marshall Dennehey was selected by the Philadelphia Business Journal as one of the Philadelphia region's "Best Places to Work." Elizabeth B. Ferguson, a Shareholder in the Jacksonville office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, has been recognized in Florida Trend magazine’s 2021 Legal Elite list, in the category of Construction law. Ms. Ferguson was previously featured on the Legal Elite list in 2014, 2018 and 2020 as well as the Up & Comers list in 2008 and 2010-2013.

Harold L. Moroknek, shareholder and co-chair of the Trucking & Transportation Liability Practice Group at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, has been named Managing Attorney of the firm’s Westchester County, New York office. He replaces James P. Connors, who is stepping down from management but will retain a robust practice with the firm.
