Marshall Dennehey Partners With Widener Law School's Veterans Law Clinic

Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin has partnered with the Veterans Law Clinic of Widener Law School to provide pro bono legal services through its Volunteer Attorney Program. The clinic provides free legal representation to veterans and their dependents with disability compensation benefit claims pending before the Department of Veteran Affairs. A Veterans Benefits CLE training was held at the firm on June 24 for the nine attorneys selected to participate in the program.

Scott Dunlop Elected to Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County

Scott G. Dunlop, shareholder and managing attorney of the Pittsburgh office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, has been elected to membership of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County. The organization is devoted to promoting the highest standards of integrity, civility and competence among civil trial lawyers in the legal profession. Admission into the academy is by invitation only, after an extensive peer review and election process.

Marshall Dennehey Announces New Leadership of Professional Liability Department

Marshall Dennehey announced today that shareholders Christopher E. Dougherty and Eric A. Fitzgerald have been named Director and Assistant Director, respectively, of the firm's Professional Liability Department. The official leadership changes come following the retirement of longtime shareholder, Chairman of the Executive Committee and Professional Liability Department founder and Director, Philip B. Toran, who had been on medical leave since the late fall of 2012.
