Scott Dunlop Elected to Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County

Scott G. Dunlop, shareholder and managing attorney of the Pittsburgh office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, has been elected to membership of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County. The organization is devoted to promoting the highest standards of integrity, civility and competence among civil trial lawyers in the legal profession. Admission into the academy is by invitation only, after an extensive peer review and election process.

A member of the firm's Professional Liability Department, Mr. Dunlop focuses his practice on the defense of local governments, their elected and appointed officials, and their employees. For more than three decades, he has represented these public entities in matters relating to zoning and land use regulation disputes, employment discrimination, law enforcement liability suits, school student discipline and education disputes, personal injury actions and more.

Mr. Dunlop received his J.D. at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and is an alumnus of West Virginia University. He is a member of the Federal Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
