Eight attorneys from Marshall Dennehey’s Mount Laurel and Roseland, New Jersey offices have been selected to the 2026 edition of New Jersey Super Lawyers magazine. A Thomson Reuters business, Super Lawyers is a rating service of lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

Marshall Dennehey announced today that James H. Cole has been appointed Director of the firm’s 140+ attorney Professional Liability Department and Sunny Marie Sparano has been appointed Assistant Director. Cole is succeeding Craig S. Hudson as department director as well as a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. Hudson will remain with the firm in an Emeritus role.

Marshall Dennehey is pleased to announce that 16 attorneys have been elected shareholders of the firm effective Jan. 1, 2026. Additionally, two attorneys have been promoted from associate to special counsel. These new shareholders and special counsel represent the firm’s four core departments – Casualty, Professional Liability, Health Care and Workers’ Compensation – and come from 11 of the firm’s 19 offices.

Nationally, the firm ranked in the practice areas of Litigation- Construction, Mass Tort Litigation/Class Action – Defendants, Insurance Law, and Commercial Litigation.

Jeffrey G. Rapattoni, Shareholder and Assistant Director of the Casualty Department at Marshall Dennehey, has been chosen to serve as Counsel to the Board of Directors of the International Association of Special Investigation Units (IASIU). The position became effective on August 27, 2025.
