Eight Marshall Dennehey Attorneys Selected to 2021 New York Metro Super Lawyers and Rising Stars
Eight attorneys from Marshall Dennehey’s New York City and Westchester, New York offices, and one from the firm's Mount Laurel, New Jersey office, have been selected to the 2021 edition of New York Metro Super Lawyers magazine. A Thomson Reuters business, Super Lawyers is a rating service of lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.
Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in a state are selected as Super Lawyers and no more than 2.5 percent are selected for Super Lawyer Rising Stars. Nicholas P. Chrysanthem, Professional Liability: Defense (NYC). An experienced trial attorney and litigator for over 30 years, Mr. Chrysanthem defends clients in matters involving legal malpractice, employment litigation, real estate litigation, complex commercial litigation, ADA public accommodation and ADA class action litigation. He has experience practicing before the New York State Division of Human Rights and the New York City Human Rights Commission.
James P. Connors, Personal Injury General: Defense (Westchester). Mr. Connors has nearly 40 years of litigation experience in a diverse range of practice areas including premises liability, product liability, aviation liability, professional liability and employment liability. He served as one of the lead counsel in the casualty litigation arising from the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001.
Bill Gianaris, Personal Injury, Med Mal: Defense (Westchester). Mr. Gianaris has litigated and tried numerous high-exposure cases in the fields of medical malpractice and general liability. He draws from his more than 20 years of experience in the area of medical malpractice defense to assist clients in achieving optimal outcomes.
Daniel G. McDermott, Transportation/Maritime (Westchester). Mr. McDermott co-chairs the firm's Maritime Litigation Practice Group. He concentrates his practice in defense of marine construction projects in the New York City metropolitan region, frequently representing general contractors, vessel owners, municipalities and their agencies in suits brought by longshore and harbor workers.
Edward C. Radzik, Transportation/Maritime (NYC). Mr. Radzik has 40 years of experience in maritime litigation. He has handled matters involving claims for cargo loss and damage, ship collisions, allisions, groundings, shipboard fires and explosions, hull and machinery failures, shipyard repair, pollution, stevedore damage, particular and general average, marine insurance disputes, personal injury and other maritime claims.

Dean Aronin, Transportation/Maritime (NYC). Mr. Aronin practices in the areas of admiralty and maritime litigation, construction and labor law, general liability and commercial litigation. He handles maritime products liability, claims involving exoneration from or limitation of liability, breach of Bare Boat Charter Agreement and maritime personal injury cases, including Jones Act claims and Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act. He is a member of Maritime Law Association of the United States (MLA) and the Marine and Insurance Claims Association (MICA).

Mr. Calvert represents clients in the fields of construction injury litigation, retail liability, automobile litigation, trucking and transportation litigation, product liability actions, and amusements, sports and recreation liability. His clients include retail stores, construction companies, maintenance companies, amusement parks, theaters and product retailers, among others.
Christopher J. DiCicco, Transportation/Maritime (Mount Laurel, NJ). Mr. DiCicco focuses his practice on admiralty and maritime litigation, including maritime personal injury cases and marine construction cases. He also is experienced handling trucking and aviation cargo defense cases, as well as aviation liability matters. Though he relocated to the firm's Mount Laurel, NJ office in 2017, he is admitted to practice in both New York and New Jersey and he actively handles litigation in both states.
