Sarah Schwartz

Associate

Sarah is an associate in the firm’s Casualty Department, where she represents corporate defendants in a range of civil litigation matters, including premises liability, automobile, and employment law. She handles all phases of litigation from inception through resolution, including drafting dispositive motions, managing discovery, participating in court conferences, and negotiating settlements.

Before joining the firm, Sarah gained experience through a variety of legal roles in both private practice and corporate environments. She served as a compliance intern at a hedge fund, where she negotiated vendor agreements and assessed legal risks related to data practices, and completed externships in real estate and technology law. Earlier in her legal career, she worked as a legal assistant on asbestos-related litigation, developing an early foundation in complex liability matters.

Sarah earned her juris doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2023, where she contributed to the New York Real Estate Law Reporter and was active in the Entertainment and Intellectual Property Law Societies. She received her bachelor’s degree in Classical Languages and Literature, with a minor in English Literature, from Franklin & Marshall College in 2017.

She is admitted to practice in New York, as well as in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
