Jenise M. Rivera

    Jenise is a member of the firm’s Health Care Department, where she focuses her practice on defending physicians, health care providers, physicians’ offices, nursing homes, outpatient centers, hospitals and health systems throughout all stages of litigation. In addition to representing clients in complex medical malpractice matters, Jenise also defends corporations in general casualty, product liability and commercial litigation matters.

    Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Jenise completed a two-year judicial clerkship in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania where she handled a variety of complex civil litigation matters. Prior to her clerkship, Jenise worked as a healthcare litigation associate at a regional law firm. Both experiences provided her the requisite knowledge and experience to deliver effective and efficient client representation.

    Jenise received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Urban Studies from the Rutgers University with a minor in Human Resources. She then earned her J.D. from Rutgers University Law School, where she received the Pro Bono Publico Award. While at Rutgers Law School, Jenise served on various boards and committees.
