Jack Yau

Associate

    Jack is a member of the Professional Liability Department where he focuses his practice on appellate advocacy and post-trial motions and appeals. Jack’s practice also includes representation of clients in matters concerning lawyers’ professional liability, employment law, general liability and New York Construction & Labor Law.

    Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Jack served as a Judicial Extern at the New York State Supreme Court, Bronx County, as well as at the First Judicial Department of the New York State Appellate Division, where he gained valuable insight into how courts analyze motion papers and issues on appeal. He also worked as a Law Clerk at a New York City plaintiff-side personal injury law firm and as an attorney at a New York City law firm defending municipal entities and construction companies against Labor Law 240(1), 241(6), and 200 claims. 

    Jack is admitted to practice in New York and utilizes his well-rounded experience to achieve successful results at both the trial and appellate level.
