Overview
Connor is a member of the Professional Liability Department where he focuses his practice on defending claims made and suits brought against a variety of professionals including employers, real estate professionals, corporate officers and directors, as well as public sector entities and businesses.
Connor’s employment practice includes his representation and defense of public entities and private employers. The claims brought against his clients involve discrimination and retaliation based on race, sex, religion, age, disability and FMLA entitlement. He appears regularly in both the state and federal courts, as well various administrative agencies, representing clients in suits brought against them involving Section 1983 claims, Title VII actions, ADEA, ADA, FMLA and PHRA matters.
The public entity/civil rights portion of Connor's practice focuses on the defense of municipalities and other public entities. Connor routinely represents schools and municipalities for various claims and suits brought against them. In addition, he defends mayors, council members, police chiefs, police officers, and teachers when claims and suits are brought against them individually or in their official capacity.
Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Connor gained valuable experience working as a consulting associate at a large professional services firm.
In 2023, Connor received his juris doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. During law school, Connor was a member of the Securities Arbitration Clinic, where he represented small investors throughout the FINRA arbitration process.
Connor received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh.
