Attorney recently won a jury trial. Plaintiffs, husband and wife, demanded policy limits and claimed injuries resulting from a high speed head-on collision caused by defendant's negligent driving. Defendant admitted negligence. Plaintiffs' treating physician and medical expert admitted on cross examination that plaintiffs' suffered minor injuries. Plaintiffs, in turn agreed that their injuries were minor. Plaintiffs' counsel wanted the jury to focus on the pictures of the vehicles after the accident, which depicted two totaled cars. However, the jury focused on the real issue, plaintiffs' minor injuries, and after deliberating less than 15 minutes awarded a defense verdict.
