Attorney obtained a defense verdict on a week long trial. The Jury returned a verdict in favor of the defendant on a 49/51 liability split in favor of the defendant even though the defendant was alleged to have run a red light and was making a left turn in front of the plaintiff. Unfortunately the plaintiff did walk away with some money as prior to trial a High/Low agreement was entered into by the carrier as the plaintiff's demand was in excess of the policy limits; plaintiff had filed an Offer of Judgment for the policy limits and there was a bad faith allegation being presented.
