Attorney obtained a defense verdict on behalf of his client in a two day jury trial in the Adams County Court of Common Pleas.  The Plaintiff while riding a motorcycle was struck by the defendant's car in the lower right leg.  While no bones were broken, Plaintiff, a 63 year old juvenile diabetic, claimed that he had a permanent vascular injury that would eventually progress to the point where amputation would be required. Even though the Judge directed a verdict on the issue of Negligence against the Defendant, the Jury, after one hour and forty-five minutes of deliberations, refused to award Plaintiff any monetary damages.
