Marshall Dennehey Announces New Assistant Director of the Professional Liability Department and New Board Member

Marshall Dennehey has promoted Craig S. Hudson to the position of Assistant Director of the Professional Liability Department. In this capacity, he will assist department director Christopher E. Dougherty with the management of 16 practice groups and approximately 150 attorneys.

Mr. Hudson has served for the past five years as a Senior Vice President of the firm and as a member of the Board of Directors. He currently is the Professional Liability Supervisor and Regional Managing Attorney of our four Florida offices – one of the firm’s fastest growing markets. During his 27 years at Marshall Dennehey, Mr. Hudson has practiced in both the Philadelphia and Fort Lauderdale offices where he successfully resolved thousands of professional liability matters. He has also served as the firm’s hiring partner. He will return to  Philadelphia for this management role.

The firm has additionally appointed Matthew S. Schorr, Assistant Director of the firm’s Casualty Department, to the Board of Directors. Mr. Schorr joined the firm in 2008 as a shareholder and co-chair of the Maritime Litigation Practice Group. In 2015 he became Assistant Director of the firm’s Casualty Department. Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, he has defended individuals, insurance companies, and major corporations in New York and New Jersey in a variety of complex litigation.
