Leonardo Viola

Associate

    Leonardo is an Associate in the Casualty Department, where he represents national and local insurance companies in matters involving general liability, premises liability, and other areas of civil litigation.

    Before joining Marshall Dennehey, Leonardo earned his Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University. During his undergraduate studies, he also lived abroad in Rome, Italy, where he competed with U.S. Tiber Basket Roma, an Italian basketball league team, in two National Finals tournaments for the top U18 (2016) and U20 (2017) divisions, in addition to playing for the professional team.

    Leonardo went on to earn his juris doctor from Brooklyn Law School, where he gained experience through internships at firms in Hoboken, New Jersey, and Manhattan, New York, working in immigration and civil litigation. After relocating to Florida and passing the bar, he focused his practice on defense work for major cruise lines in the federal maritime arena.

    Raised between Naples, Italy, and Miami, Florida, before pursuing his education in New York, Leonardo is fluent in Italian and Spanish.
