Joselyn Johnson

Associate

    Joselyn Johnson is an associate in the Casualty Department. She zealously advocates and defends automobile insurance carriers in personal injury protection (PIP) benefits, special investigations (SIU), and fraud and misrepresentation cases.

    Joselyn obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida in 2014. She was a Board of Directors Member at the Cooperative Living Organization in Gainesville, Florida.

    While earning her juris doctor at St. Thomas University School of Law in 2017, and a certificate in Intercultural Human Rights, Joselyn was a member for the Journal of Complex Litigation, received the CALI Excellence Award in Florida Constitutional Law, and a pro bono commendation for contribution to the community and legal aid organizations. In addition, Joselyn was the Pro Bono Committee Chair in the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and interned with a Circuit Court Judge in the Unified Family division.

    After becoming barred in Florida, Joselyn began her career in the Public Sector as an Attorney ad Litem representing the express wishes of abused, abandoned, and neglected children in the Foster Care system in Circuit Court. Then, Joselyn represented Plaintiffs in PIP cases while training newer attorneys.

    During her free time, Joselyn enjoys spending time with her husband and their son reading, watching movies, and working out.
