Emily A. Giradi

Associate

    Emily is an associate in the Health Care Department. She focuses her practice on complex medical malpractice defense representing the interests of hospitals and healthcare providers in all stages of litigation from initial client meetings through the preparation for trial, mediation, and arbitration.

    Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Emily worked at a Greater Philadelphia law firm where she primarily practiced in the area of medical malpractice defense litigation.

    Emily earned her juris doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School. Drawn to litigation early in her academic legal career, Emily participated in an intensive trial advocacy preparation program where law students are mentored by highly experienced attorneys, judges, and professors to develop crucial trial advocacy skills.  

    While in law school, Emily gained litigation experience working as a paralegal for a criminal defense firm. She also served as a certified legal intern in the Pennsylvania Criminal Defense Clinic, where she represented indigent clients in criminal matters. 

    Emily graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Philosophy.

    Outside of work, Emily is an avid reader, a super fan of The Office (U.S.) and enjoys spending time with her two dogs and two cats. She also volunteers with Meals on Wheels through the Montgomery County Bar Association.
