Andrew Ciganek

With a strong background in civil litigation, Andy brings a variety of strengths to his work as a member of our Casualty Department. A former plaintiff’s attorney, he has successfully handles general personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, aviation, maritime and class action lawsuits. He has served the legal needs of labor unions, including pensions and welfare funds, and has developed strong research and analysis skills through his dealings with ERISA.

Andy worked closely with expert witnesses, defeated summary judgments, and has experience in appellate law. He has worked on several high-profile cases, including the crash of Asiana Flight 214.

Staying on top of small details and respecting deadlines are a key part of Andy’s strategy for successful case management. His goal is to provide clients with excellent, cost-effective representation that wins their repeat business. Andy values good relationships with his colleagues as well as with opposing counsel.
