We received a favorable decision on a workers' compensation psychiatric claim. Alleging psychiatric injuries as a result of abnormal working conditions, the claimant claimed her supervisors created a hostile work environment. The claimant presented her testimony, four fact witnesses and a medical expert. In opposition, we presented five fact witnesses directly involved in the claimant's supervision and discipline. Critical to our defense was the presentation of an extraordinary amount of documentation supporting our fact witnesses' testimony. The judge found that the claimant failed to meet her burden of proof to establish that a mental condition existed that was caused by objective abnormal working conditions.
