Attorney won a case wherein the claimant was a bus driver who was involved in a motor vehicle accident in 2007. The Notice of Compensation Payable accepted contusions and hematomas to the chest, lower abdomen, left wrist, left knee and left shoulder. We had the claimant examined by a neurologist on 4/6/09, and he opined that she was fully recovered from the work injuries. We filed a termination petition and claimant then filed a review petition seeking to expand the injury to include post-concussion syndrome with anxiety and depression. We also had the claimant undergo a neuropsychological IME. The judge issued a decision that was entirely in our favor. She denied claimant's review petition and granted our termination petition. The judge's opinion showed that the cross examination by our experts was the reason we won the case.
