Attorney obtained motion for judgment on the pleadings on behalf of a new client to the firm. The attorney represented a local dentist with a co-defendant represented by a competitor, both insured by our client. After we filed our motion, the co-defendant's attorney felt it was a bad strategic move and decided against joining. The court held a hearing and granted our motion, dismissing the plaintiff's claims against our dentist with prejudice. The claim for the competitor's dentist is still pending.
