Attorney obtained a defense verdict in a fire case after a week of trial on behalf of the company that serviced the restaurant's fire suppression system. Plaintiff alleged that defendant failed to maintain the fire suppression system in accordance with NFPA and this failure caused the restaurant to be consumed by fire. Defense attorney argued that defendant maintained the fire suppression system in accordance with NFPA and that the fire spread with such speed that it could not be extinguished by any automatic fire suppression system. The jury found that defendant was not negligent.
