Attorney won a case for a prominent university. The claimant filed a claim petition alleging the occurrence of a work related injury to the neck, back and both lower extremities due to a twisting accident at the university. After extensive cross examination of the claimant's medical expert, it was determined that the treating doctor had absolutely no idea of the correct fact pattern and/or mechanism of injury. Thus, the WCJ held that the claimant sustained the minor injuries found by the IME doctor and then terminated the claimant's right to any indemnity benefits.
