Marshall Dennehey Signs Pledge as Signator to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s Project LITIGATE Initiative
Marshall Dennehey is proud to be a signator to Project LITIGATE – Lawyers Initiative To Improve next Gen Attorneys’ Trial Experience – an initiative from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court that has been ratified by the Pennsylvania Conference of Civil Trial Judges.
The program is supported by Pennsylvania law firms and judges to help promote career training of young lawyers who aspire to become litigators. Its mission aligns with Marshall Dennehey’s decades-long focus on attorney training and practices that give young associates experience in essential aspects of trial practice, including our annual Advanced Trial Advocacy and Mock Trial Academy.
Formally announced in the Spring of 2023, Project LITIGATE emphasizes common litigation tasks such as witness preparation, taking depositions, presenting oral argument, questioning of witnesses in court, and eventually handling a full jury trial from start to finish.
Jason Banonis, shareholder in our King of Prussia office, has been involved with Project LITIGATE from its inception and serves as chair of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute’s (PDI) Project LITIGATE Committee. He recently presented on the importance of the initiative with a panel of esteemed judges at the PDI annual conference in July.
