Marshall Dennehey Expands Casualty Practice in Florida

Marshall Dennehey has expanded its Florida Casualty Practice with the additions of  Michael J. Bradford and Julie Cunningham Aiello in the firm’s Tampa office. Mr. Bradford joins as a shareholder and Ms. Aiello joins as an associate. Both attorneys previously practiced at Hamilton Miller & Birthisel in Tampa.

Tampa native Michael J. Bradford is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer. He has extensive experience defending some of the nation's leading insurance companies and Fortune 500 corporations, having tried both bench and jury trials throughout the state and federal courts of Florida. He has also handled multiple arbitrations and appeals. Mr. Bradford focuses his practice on insurance coverage, property and casualty, construction negligence, commercial litigation, and admiralty and maritime claims.

Rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, Mr. Bradford has been recognized as a "Legal Elite Up and Comer" by Florida Trend magazine, and has been selected to the Florida Super Lawyers list every year since 2016. He is actively involved in the Hillsborough County Bar Association, Tampa Bay Inn of Court and the Tampa Bay Mariners Club. Additionally, he is a member of the American Bar Association’s Litigation and Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Sections, the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance, the Defense Research Institute, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, and the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute.

He served four years in the United States Army prior to attending the University of South Florida. He received his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School, and is admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals 11th Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.

Julie Cunningham Aiello focuses her practice in the areas of insurance coverage, personal injury defense, property and casualty, admiralty and maritime, and transportation. Throughout her career, she has successfully defended insurance coverage, property damage, personal injury and cargo loss claims.

Ms. Aiello is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section, the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance, the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF), the Maritime Law Association and the Tampa Bay Mariners Club. She has consistently been selected to the Florida Super Lawyers Rising Stars list since 2014.

Ms. Aiello attended Florida State University and received her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals 11th Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
