Jeremy J. Zacharias Receives the PLUS Emerging Leader Award

Jeremy J. Zacharias, associate in the Mount Laurel office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, has been awarded the PLUS Emerging Leader Award from the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS). The award is given annually to young professionals who excel in their profession and exhibit the attributes to become future leaders in their organization and the professional liability insurance industry.

Fifteen candidates representing both carriers and brokers across North America were nominated, with three ultimately receiving the honor. PLUS’s 6,000 members were invited to participate in the voting process.

A member of Marshall Dennehey’s Professional Liability Department, Mr. Zacharias defends attorneys, accountants, insurance producers, corporate directors and officers, and other licensed professionals when claims are brought against them. He also represents financial institutions in the defense of individual and class action lawsuits arising from claims under the FDCPA.

Mr. Zacharias is extremely active in the PLUS organization and earlier this year he attained its prestigious insurance designation, Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU), which is the only professional credential exclusively for people in the professional liability industry. At PLUS, he serves on the young professionals’ leadership committee, has completed training at PLUS University and is an alumni of its Leadership and Mentoring Program (LAMP).

“We could not be prouder of Jeremy and we congratulate him on this well-deserved award,” said Craig S. Hudson, Director of Marshall Dennehey’s Professional Liability Department. “Since arriving at the firm seven years ago, Jeremy has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in serving our clients, while also absorbing everything he can about the professional liability industry at large. He is an asset to both our firm and the industry.”

A member of the New Jersey State and Camden County Bar Associations, Mr. Zacharias is a graduate of Drexel University and Rutgers University School of Law, Camden. He is  admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
