Eric Scott Thompson Joins Marshall Dennehey’s Wilmington, Delaware Office As Special Counsel

Eric Scott Thompson has joined Marshall Dennehey’s Wilmington, Delaware office as Special Counsel in the firm’s Casualty and Workers’ Compensation Departments. Previously, he was a Principal at Franklin & Prokopik, P.C. in Newark. 

Thompson, a graduate of Widener University School of Law and Central Michigan University, has more than 20 years of experience handling catastrophic claims litigation involving product liability, construction defect, motor vehicle and premises liability matters. He is equally experienced in workers’ compensation litigation, having represented employers, third party administrators and self-insureds throughout the state. 

Thompson represents clients in the federal courts in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey and is experienced in handling appeals before the Superior and Supreme Courts of Delaware, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

He is active in his community having served in various positions. He is also an adjunct professor at Wilmington University where he teaches Civics.
