Mohamed N. Bakry Elected to Membership in the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel

Mohamed N. Bakry, shareholder in the Philadelphia office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, has been elected to membership in the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC). The FDCC is dedicated to promoting knowledge, fellowship, and professionalism of its members as they pursue a balanced justice system and represent those in need of a defense in civil lawsuits. Candidates nominated for FDCC membership must demonstrate distinction in the legal community and are subjected to a peer review process before being invited into the organization.

Mr. Bakry focuses his practice on the defense of wrongful death cases within the areas of product liability, premises liability, and transportation. In this capacity, he defends manufacturers, property owners, retailers, and product suppliers against claims alleging assault and battery, defects on the premises, acts of negligent third parties, improper maintenance of the premises, negligent service, design defects, failure to warn, and breach of warranty. He also represents clients facing misdemeanor and felony criminal charges.

Among his numerous professional memberships, Mr. Bakry is a member of the Board of Directors of the Lawyers Club of Philadelphia. He is additionally a member of the Defense Research Institute, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations. Devoted to community causes, he is a former board member of the Nationalities Service Center, a non-profit organization that provides social, educational and legal services to immigrants and refugees in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Mr. Bakry is a graduate of Rutgers University and earned his J.D. from the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
