Marshall Dennehey Attorneys to Serve as Faculty at CLM's 2014 Claims College

Marshall Dennehey shareholders Eric A. Fitzgerald, Andrew W. Davitt and Matthew S. Schorr will serve as faculty at the CLM's annual Claims College, to be held September 7-10, 2014, at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Eric A. Fitzgerald, CPCU, CLU, will address the College's School of Insurance Fraud. As assistant director of the firm's Professional Liability Department, he helps oversee the Department's 16 practice groups and approximately 150 attorneys throughout the firm. He also serves as chair of the firm's Insurance Coverage/Bad Faith Litigation Practice Group, which includes over 20 attorneys exclusively devoted to providing general counsel and litigation of insurance coverage disputes. He is located in the firm's Philadelphia office.

Andrew W. Davitt, chair of Marshall Dennehey's Securities and Investment Professional Liability Practice Group, will present to the School of Professional Lines. Resident in Marshall Dennehey's Philadelphia office, he and his group members represent the interests of FINRA member broker-dealers, registered representatives, certified financial planners, RIAs, insurance agents and brokers and other securities and insurance industry professionals throughout the United States. Additionally, Mr. Davitt is called upon by investment firms to conduct investigations and seminars on timely business and investment topics. His team also counsels and represents brokers and firms on employment issues and litigation.

Matthew S. Schorr, regional managing attorney of the Casualty Department for our northern New Jersey and New York offices, will speak to the College's School of Property. Resident in the firm's Roseland office, he has defended insurance companies, major corporations and individuals in complex litigation within a variety of practice areas. He and his litigation team routinely handle high-exposure cases in the fields of premises and product liability, restaurant/bar liability, marine, inland marine, construction accidents, insurance coverage and more.
