Sydney A. Larsen

Associate

    Sydney is a member of the Professional Liability Department where she focuses her practice on the defense of attorneys, accountants, insurance producers, corporate directors and officers, and financial institutions, among other clients. Sydney also assists with privacy and data breach matters, helping clients to reduce cyber risk exposures and navigate incident response, containment, and compliance measures following a data breach.

    Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Sydney served in the chambers of the Honorable Edward W. Hoffman, P.J.F.P. of the New Jersey Superior Court. She received her juris doctor from Rutgers University School of Law. During law school, she was a Staff Editor of the Journal of Law & Public Policy, served as the President of the Woman's Law Caucus and participated in the Mediation Pro Bono Project. She also worked in the law school's Admissions Office providing campus tours to prospective students.

    Sydney received her undergraduate degree from Rowan University where she studied Political Science and International Studies. She was a member of the Honors Community, Pre-Law Society and Club Lacrosse team. She also participated in the NEW Leadership NJ Public Leadership Institute.

    Outside of the practice of law, Sydney enjoys hiking, running, visiting National Parks and traveling to new countries.
