Amelia Salem Rashid

Associate

    Amelia focuses her practice on defending health care professionals and facilities in medical malpractice litigation. Her experience includes preparing clients for deposition and trial testimony, deposing witnesses, preparing and presenting motions and pleadings for Common Pleas and Federal District court, meeting with expert witnesses, and preparing and managing discovery. Amelia has second chaired a jury trial, where she assisted with trial preparation and strategy.

    As a law clerk for the Butler County Court of Common Pleas, Amelia drafted judicial opinions, researched legal issues before the court, prepared case summaries, and drafted court orders for motions and petitions.

    While attending the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Amelia served as the Student Bar Association Class of 2021 class president, co-founded the Middle Eastern-North African Law Student Association, and competed in the mock trial competition. She was a member of the women’s swim team during her undergraduate studies at Saint Vincent College.
