After nine years, whistleblower lawsuit settles.

The borough of Wildwood Crest reached a settlement agreement in a lawsuit filed by Sgt. Thomas Hunt and his wife, Barbara Hunt. Hunt filed a whistleblower lawsuit against the borough in 2012, which alleged the defendants retaliated against him and ultimately caused his termination as a result of his union activities. After nine years of litigation, this case settled for $1.2 million.
