Colleen Bannon Appointed Vice-Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Federal Courts Committee

Colleen Bannon, Shareholder and Director of Legal Information Resources, has been appointed a Vice-Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Federal Courts Committee. The committee serves as an informational liaison between the federal courts covering the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and members of the bar, and organizes the federal Bench/Bar conference held each spring. Ms. Bannon's term on the committee is effective January 1, 2016.

Marshall Dennehey Receives "Vision Award" From Philadelphia Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division

Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin is pleased to announce that the firm has received the "Vision Award" from the Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the Philadelphia Bar Association. The award is presented annually to a law firm that supports the professional development of young lawyers, as well as the YLD in its philanthropic mission and public service works. The Philadelphia Business Journal has named Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin one of its 2015 Best Places to Work award recipients in the Philadelphia region. The award recognizes the company's achievements in creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains employees through a combination of benefits, working conditions and company culture. Marshall Dennehey, which was the only law firm named to the list in 2015, was also recognized in 2013 and 2014.

John Hare Appointed to Civil Procedural Rules Committee of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court

John J. Hare, Chair of the Appellate Advocacy and Post-Trial Practice Group at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, has been appointed to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court's Civil Procedural Rules Committee. He was appointed by Chief Justice Thomas G. Saylor and will serve a three-year term.

The Civil Procedural Rules Committee is the Pennsylvania Supreme Court's oldest rules committee, consisting of 15 judges and lawyers who are responsible for proposing and reviewing changes to the rules governing civil litigation in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
