Marshall Dennehey Announces 2019 Shareholder Class and Special Counsel Promotions

Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin is pleased to announce that 13 associates and two special counsel have been elevated to shareholder. Additionally, the firm has promoted four associates to the position of special counsel. These new shareholders and special counsel represent the firm's four core departments – casualty, professional liability, health care and workers' compensation – and come from 11 of the firm's 20 regional offices.

Teresa Ficken Sachs Argues Before the Supreme Court of the United States

Teresa Ficken Sachs, Co-Chair of the Appellate Advocacy & Post-Trial Practice Group at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, presented her first oral argument before the Supreme Court of the United States on October 3, 2018, in the case of Knick v. Township of Scott, Pa., No. 17-647. The case involves a dispute over a local cemetery ordinance that the landowner, Knick, considers an unconstitutional taking of her property. Inherent to the matter is a 1985 Supreme Court precedent that controls where many property rights battles are litigated.

Class Action & The Marshall Dennehey Horns To Compete in Law Rocks Philadelphia For the Philadelphia Bar Foundation

Class Action & The Marshall Dennehey Horns, the in-house rock-and-roll band at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, will compete at the 3rd Annual Law Rocks Philadelphia event on October 18 at the World Café Live to raise money for the Philadelphia Bar Foundation. Law Rocks is a global organization that raises funds for local nonprofits by combining the power of music and the generosity of the global legal community.
