Marshall Dennehey Announces 2015 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers and Rising Stars

Daniel Sherry Inducted Into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers
Daniel J. Sherry, shareholder in the Health Care Department in Marshall Dennehey's King of Prussia office, was inducted into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL) at the organization's recent international meeting.
Marshall Dennehey Shareholders Receive Top Honors as 2014 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers
Three Marshall Dennehey shareholders have received top honors in the 2014 edition of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers magazine.
For the eighth consecutive year, Daniel J. Sherry, shareholder in the firm's King of Prussia office, has been named to the "Top 100 Attorneys in Pennsylvania" and the "Top 100 Attorneys in Philadelphia" Super Lawyers lists. Mr. Sherry focuses his practice in complex health care liability matters including brain injury litigation and medical malpractice defense.
Defense of police pursuit case results in change to state law.
Obtained summary judgment, affirmed on appeal in the Commonwealth Court, for a police officer, his supervisor and the police department in a case involving police pursuit that ended in a fatal crash. The case changed the law in Pennsylvania, as the court held for the first time, "There is no duty of care to passengers whose existence, or whose connection to the driver and the conduct for which he is being pursued, is unknown to the officer. Because there was no duty of care, summary judgment was appropriate as a matter of law."
"Class Action" Band is Headed to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
"Class Action," the in-house rock and roll band at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, will perform in the final round of the 13th Annual Fortune Battle of the Corporate Bands competition, to take place September 28th at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio.
