Ronda O'Donnell to Lead Employment Law Practice Group

Marshall Dennehey announced today that Ronda K. O'Donnell has been named Chair of the Employment Law Practice Group in the firm's Professional Liability Department. She will replace Thomas C. DeLorenzo, practice group leader and longtime firm shareholder, when he retires on December 31.

"He leaves big shoes to fill, but we are in excellent hands with Ronda at the helm. She is an outstanding attorney whom clients and colleagues look to for her professionalism, reasoned analysis and impeccable judgment."

Since joining the firm 15 years ago, O'Donnell has worked closely with DeLorenzo, devoting  her practice to employment law litigation and the defense of employers in matters involving discrimination, violation of federal and state statutes, wrongful discharge, breach of contract and other tort claims. She was named one of the Top 50 Women Pennsylvania Super Lawyers of 2013, and is rated AV® Preeminent™ by Martindale-Hubbell. A graduate of Allegheny College and the Dickinson School of Law, she is a  member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations.

DeLorenzo joined Marshall Dennehey 38 years ago, where he quickly became prominent in the area of Philadelphia asbestos litigation, known for pioneering strategies and techniques for the handling of complex, multi-party toxic tort litigation. An experienced trial attorney, he achieved success in personal injury toxic tort and public entity liability before concentrating on employment law. Through the years he has held several leadership positions with the firm, chairing various practices and serving on the firm's Board of Directors.
