J. Mr. McKissock was additionally recognized by Best Lawyers in the area of Commercial Litigation.

An FAA licensed instrument-rated pilot and aircraft owner, Mr. McKissick has more than 30 years of experience handling complex and high-profile litigation matters ranging from air crashes, product failures and business disputes, to interpretations of contract and insurance policies. A highly accomplished trial lawyer, he is a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Association of Defense Counsel, the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association, the Aviation Insurance Association and numerous bar associations.
