Judd Woytek (King of Prussia) successfully defended a claim and penalty petitions where the claimant alleged a left knee injury while delivering packages of dog food to a home. The claimant’s medical expert diagnosed a fracture of the proximal tibia of the left knee, a mild sprain to the MCL of his left knee and an aggravation of mild underlying arthritis of the left knee. The workers’ compensation judge found both the claimant and his medical expert to be not credible and, instead, credited the opinions of our medical expert, who agreed with the diagnoses but said they were not related to any work injury. The claimant’s claim and penalty petitions were both denied and dismissed.
