Matthew P. Keris Appointed to Editorial Board of New Patient Safety Journal

Matthew P. Keris, shareholder in the Scranton office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, has been appointed to the editorial board of the Pennsylvania Patient Safety Authority’s new Patient Safety journal. The quarterly, peer-reviewed journal will highlight advancements in clinical practice that have reduced patient harm, and will blend the latest scientific research with real-life, practice-based solutions. Content will be solicited from patient safety advocates across the country.

Marshall Dennehey Announces 2019 Shareholder Class and Special Counsel Promotions

Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin is pleased to announce that 13 associates and two special counsel have been elevated to shareholder. Additionally, the firm has promoted four associates to the position of special counsel. These new shareholders and special counsel represent the firm's four core departments – casualty, professional liability, health care and workers' compensation – and come from 11 of the firm's 20 regional offices.

Matthew Keris Elected Atlantic Regional Director of the Defense Research Institute

Matthew P. Keris, shareholder in the Scranton office of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, has been elected the Atlantic Regional Director of the Defense Research Institute (DRI),  the country's leading organization of defense attorneys and in-house counsel. Mr. Keris previously was the DRI's Pennsylvania State Representative and Membership Chair. He will serve a three-year term on the organization's Board of Directors, to culminate in 2021.

Marshall Dennehey Announces 2018 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers & Rising Stars – Daniel Sherry, John Hare and Teresa Ficken Sachs Receive Special Recognition

Sixty-nine attorneys from the Pennsylvania offices of Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin have been selected to the 2018 edition of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers magazine. A Thomson Reuters business, Super Lawyers is a rating service of lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected for this honor. The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.

Robin B. Snyder Named Assistant Director of Health Care Department

Robin B. Snyder, shareholder and member of the firm's Board of Directors, has been named Assistant Director of the Health Care Department at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin.  In this role, she will assist T. Kevin FitzPatrick, Director of the Health Care Department, in managing and supervising the firm's 80+ health care attorneys throughout 14 offices. In accepting the position, Ms. Snyder is relocating from the firm's Scranton office to its King of Prussia office, where Mr. FitzPatrick is also located.
