Attorney successfully defended a breach of contract claim brought by an insured for the value of his vehicle that was destroyed by fire. Plaintiff admitted that the fire was incendiary but claimed that he was owed for the vehicle because the insurance company had no direct evidence that he was involved in the fire. The jury found that Plaintiff had breached the insurance contract with misrepresentations and fraud, and it also found in the insurance company's favor on its counterclaim for fees and costs that it spent investigating and defending Plaintiff's claim.
