Marshall Dennehey Bolsters Wilmington Casualty Department With Additions of Shareholder Daniel Bennett and Special Counsel Sean Dolan

Marshall Dennehey has bolstered the strength of its Wilmington casualty bench with the additions of Shareholder Daniel P. Bennett and Special Counsel Sean A. Dolan.

A highly experienced trial attorney, Bennett brings more than 35 years of experience in the areas of product liability, premises liability, hospitality and liquor liability, trucking and transportation, and insurance coverage and bad faith matters. He represents clients in high-exposure litigation, including wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and uninsured/underinsured motorist claims.

Bennett has tried cases in all Delaware courts and has argued numerous matters before the Delaware Supreme Court. Over the course of his career, he has investigated, litigated, or assisted in the resolution of more than 25 wrongful death cases, along with many others involving catastrophic injuries. He is additionally a certified Delaware Superior Court mediator. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University and the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary. 

Dolan brings extensive experience in the areas of  automobile liability, premises liability, and construction law. He concentrates on trial practice across all Delaware courts, representing insurers and their insureds in complex litigation matters, including appeals before the Delaware Supreme Court.

A certified mediator, he is former Counsel to the Delaware Claims Association, where he provided updates to insurance professionals and attorneys on statutory, regulatory, and case law developments in Delaware. He has lectured for professional seminars across the state on a wide range of topics including automobile accident litigation, the use and evaluation of expert witnesses, damages assessment, insurance coverage issues, coordination of insurance coverages in personal injury cases, construction accidents, and property damage matters, including subrogation. 

He is a graduate of the University of Delaware and Widener University School of Law.
