Overview
Linda Nikaj is an attorney in the Casualty Department, where she focuses on a diverse range of cases including construction litigation, retail and premises liability, automobile claims, and trucking and transportation.
Before joining Marshall Dennehey, Linda represented medical professionals and providers in health care liability matters. She also has experience with a range of other kinds of cases, including wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, sexual assault, work accidents, burn cases, and other casualty matters.
Linda’s legal journey has been enriched by externships, fellowships, and other positions at prominent institutions such as the U.S. House of Representatives, the Consulate General of Kosovo in New York, the N.J. Criminal Court, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Justice, Legal Services of New Jersey, and the Immigration and International Human Rights Clinic at Seton Hall Law.
In addition to her legal practice, Linda is an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall University and Baruch College. At Seton Hall, she teaches courses on the U.S. Judicial System and Comparative Politics, and she previously taught U.S. Foreign Policy. She also assisted in teaching Leadership for Lawyers at Seton Hall Law. At Baruch College, she teaches American Government with a focus on the Constitution and the judicial system.
When she’s not practicing law, Linda enjoys teaching, participating in philanthropic and community organizations, attending yoga classes, unwinding with her book club, and spending quality time with family and friends.
