Jazlyn M. Figueroa

    Jazlyn Figueroa is a member of the Casualty Department where she handles matters involving premises liability, automobile liability, general liability, and product liability. 

    Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Jazlyn practiced at an insurance defense firm in Orlando, where she served as the lead associate attorney for her division. In that role, she represented a range of businesses and insurance carriers in matters involving premises liability, automobile negligence, and commercial landlord–tenant disputes. Her work included defending claims arising from slip/trip and falls, foodborne illness allegations, and vicarious liability for employees’ intentional torts, giving her a strong foundation in evaluating risk, developing defense strategies, and guiding clients through litigation.

    Jazlyn earned her juris doctor from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2024. During law school, she was an active member of Phi Alpha Delta and the Hispanic American Law Student Association, serving as HALSA’s President from 2023 to 2024. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Tampa.
