Overview
Ilsa is a member of the Professional Liability Department, where she focuses her practice on public entity and civil rights litigation, representing municipalities, school districts, and public officials in complex legal matters.
Ilsa earned her Juris Doctor cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2024, where she was a Conwell Scholar. While at Temple, she was part of the Integrated Trial Advocacy Program and a distinguished member of the National Trial Team. She competed in numerous competitions across the country, earning top recognition as an advocate and advancing to the semi-final round at the national competition hosted by the American Association for Justice, placing among the top four teams out of more than 220 nationwide. Her achievements earned her induction into the Order of the Barristers, an honorary organization for law students and practicing lawyers who demonstrate exceptional skills in advocacy and service.
During law school, Ilsa gained practical experience through the Family Law Litigation Clinic, where she provided direct legal representation to low-income litigants in matters including custody, support, and adoption. She also founded and served as president of the Muslim Law Students Association, demonstrating strong leadership and a commitment to community building. In the summer of her second year, Ilsa participated in Marshall Dennehey’s Summer Associate Program and continued working with the firm throughout her third year of law school before returning full-time following the Pennsylvania Bar Exam.
Upon graduation, Ilsa received the Integrated Trial Advocacy Award and the Harriet Robinson Gillock Memorial Award for her contributions to the law school community, and she was inducted into the Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society.
Outside of her professional work, Ilsa enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring new cafés throughout the city.
