Veteran Florida Litigator Joins Marshall Dennehey in Tampa
Veteran litigator Terrance A. Bostic has joined Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin as Senior Counsel in the firm's Tampa office. A member of the Professional Liability Department, he focuses his practice on securities litigation, white collar criminal defense and commercial litigation matters.
Mr. Bostic has been a fixture in the Florida legal community for more than 30 years. Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, he was Vice President and Associate Corporate Counsel for Raymond James Financial in St. Petersburg for ten years. His primary duty was the defense of FINRA arbitration claims, customer complaints and regulatory inquiries involving a wide variety of issues and products. He is a FINRA Series 7 Registered Representative and a FINRA Dispute Resolution Arbitrator.
Before becoming corporate counsel, Mr. Bostic had a broad-based civil litigation practice focused primarily on commercial matters and white collar criminal defense litigation. During this 18-year period, he served as counsel in some of the most significant white collar cases in the Middle District of Florida, and also in New York's federal courts. His experience encompasses grand jury investigations, trials and appeals related to offenses such as antitrust, bank and bankruptcy fraud, environmental crimes, government contract and program fraud, money laundering, racketeering, securities fraud, tax violations and theft of intellectual property. As a part of his private practice he has represented securities clients before federal and state financial regulatory agencies, including the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the New York Stock Exchange Enforcement Division, the National Association of Securities Dealers, and FINRA Dispute Resolution.
A graduate of the University of Miami Law School, Mr. Bostic is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute. He is rated AV Preeminent® by Martindale-Hubbell and has been selected as a "Tampa Top-Rated Lawyer" in the areas of arbitration and securities law.
