William Z. Scott Jr.

Senior Counsel

William focuses his practice exclusively on workers' compensation litigation, serving as a key member of the Workers' Compensation Department. He has represented a large number of machine shops, hospitals, grocery stores, clothing manufacturers, resorts and school districts in workers' compensation matters.

William has lectured for various organizations on civil and workers' compensation law. He serves on the boards of directors of the Mahoning Valley Ambulance Association and Pennsylvania Bar Foundation. He is also a member of the Committee of Judicial Independence and has served on the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. William is a former chancellor of the Carbon County Bar Association, former president of the Conference of County Bar Leaders and former president of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.

A graduate of Lafayette College, William subsequently attended the Dickinson School of Law and achieved his juris doctor in 1977. He began his legal career practicing general civil and criminal law, before focusing on defense litigation.
