Taryn M. Carey


Taryn is an associate in the Health Care Department. Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Taryn clerked for the Honorable Jeanine Edwards, President Judge of the 22nd Judicial District of Pennsylvania, where she conducted legal research and helped draft various judicial opinions.

Taryn graduated from the Drexel University Kline School of Law in 2018. During her time at Drexel, Taryn was president of the American Constitution Society and was involved with various programs such as the Pennsylvania Innocence Project and the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Office-Behavioral Health Division. Taryn was also a judicial intern with the Honorable Thomas F. Burke, Jr. of the Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas for two summers during law school.

Taryn attended West Chester University for her undergraduate education, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in History with minors in both Spanish and Political Science. In her free time, she enjoys reading and playing the piano.
